Welcome to the Frontier Futures site. I hope to use this site to consider some different aspects of the challenging future that humanty faces – economically, environmentally, politically. I plan to use non-fiction and fiction writing to illustrate, inqure and – I really hope – entertain. I have what you might describe as a talent for directed pessimism. If it can go wrong, it probably will – but it usually won’t prove to have been half as bad as you thought it would be.
